Response To Nature

I learnt in class that Nature should be untamed meaning nature cannot be tampered with. Nature is powerful. In the discussion we had in class about nature, we read a story in class “The Birthmark” by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The story is about a young woman with a God given birthmark and her husband the scientist. However as the story progresses the husband becomes more and more tortured by his wife’s birthmark, and he decide to perform experiment on her birthmark mark which he did and lead to the wife’s death because the husband tampered with nature.
