Desire is defined as a strong feeling of wanting to something or wishing for something to happen. I really learnt that desire can be felt and experienced in different ways. In a play by Tennessee Williams named “A Street Car Named Desire” Desire is expressed through the relationship of Blanche and her husband Stanley. They both suggest that their desire for each other is crucial to their existence. There is no difficulty in understanding the love and desire between them.
